Mr. Language* Pet Peeve of the Day
"Safety Deposit Box"
I'll admit the english language is not always the most intuitive. In this case, it's a simple use of words to describe the object's function.
It's a box. People deposit things into it. It is kept in the bank's safe.
It's a Safe Deposit Box.
