Tough Love
Some friends of ours recently had their older of two sons graduate from high school and their other one is currently a Junior. At that point in my life, I'd be celebrating my new freedom, but these people have decided to adopt a couple of kids from Russia. They're sisters of around 8-10 years old. Somehow, they got roped into also adopting *another* *teenaged* girl also from Russia. I can't imagine this turns out well.
"Tantyana, please clean up your room."
"Are you going to turn me out and force me to prostitute myself on the street if I don't?"
"Honey, don't be silly. Of course, we'd never do that."
"Oh... then fuck off."
